Warranty Phase

WARRANTY REQUESTS

  • After completion of your project, your relationship with JCD continues into the Warranty Phase. JCD provides a one-year warranty on all workmanship, materials, and equipment provided.

  • If you find something not as it should, please submit a Warranty Request in your CoConstruct project (you’ll retain access throughout the Warranty Phase). Please do not contact subcontractors directly. If we don’t know about an issue, we can’t help you resolve it.

  • Once we receive your Warranty Request, we will schedule a time to come inspect the issue. Depending on the severity of the issue, we will either correct it on that visit or schedule a follow-up. A detailed and clear Warranty Request will help us get it corrected on the first visit.

  • After correcting the issue, we will mark it as complete in CoConstruct. You then verify the issue is resolved and mark the Warranty Request appropriately.

  • We are proud of the quality of our workmanship, which is reflected in how few warranty repairs our customers request. Most projects have none.

  • Expect us to check back 1, 6, and 11 months after project close to see if any warranty needs have arisen.
